A page and listings for HVAC shops
Layton, UT
Terms of Service
These terms cover the CiteLocal site and the Base work we sell. Effective September 5, 2026. CiteLocal is operated by CiteLocal. Questions: jacob@citelocal.app.
This is a business draft posted for transparency. It is not a substitute for a lawyer’s review.
Who we are
CiteLocal is a professional marketing service: a mini-page and listing keep-alive for HVAC shops. We do the work. A team of AI agents does almost all of the platform work. A person at CiteLocal manages that team. You change shop details by verifying a company or personal email we send — a link, not a password login. Most of the work between us happens over email. That is not a traditional account. This is not a DIY SEO tool. This is citelocal.app (and www). We are not citelocal.ai, which sells GEO software for med spas.
Acceptance
Using this site, submitting a quote request, or purchasing a service means you accept these terms. If you buy for a shop, you confirm you can bind that business.
Where customers see the work
Base work shows up in public, not in a dashboard you log into. The local report is a public page on citelocal.app. Listing keep-alive is on maps, places, and other public directories we can keep from public facts. The shop mini-page is a hosted page on a citelocal.app subdomain until own domain (Coming soon). Shop details are changed when you open a link we email to a company or personal address you give us. Most of the work between us happens over email.
Services and deliverables
What you get is what your written order, invoice, or email confirmation says. Typical Base work includes a city or report page, NAP / schema / places keep-alive from public facts, and a shop mini-page on a citelocal.app domain. Own-domain hosting, Meta / Facebook ads, and other items that are not Base apply only when you purchase them.
Fit for Base
Before Base starts, you confirm a written checklist about the shop: that public listings or the public page are thin or missing, that you will confirm public facts, and that you are not buying a rank. If Base will not help that shop, we say so. We point you to a later option or we decline. We do not sell Base where it will not help.
Your responsibilities
You provide accurate name, address, phone, hours, and other public facts (NAP). You review and approve work we send you. When a listing or ads account needs your login or admin access, you grant it or make the change yourself. Delays on your side can delay delivery.
Fees, billing, and cancellation
Public Base pricing is $69 one-time setup plus $169 per month. $238 is due today ($69 setup + $169 first month), then $169 each month, paid through a Stripe Payment Link. Base is the mini-page and the standard services only. Ads are not included. Add-ons are quoted. Fees, billing dates, refunds, cancellations, and any guarantee — where offered in writing — are as stated in your written order, invoice, or email confirmation. Those writings control if they differ from this page. For billing questions, email jacob@citelocal.app.
Intellectual property
You keep your brand name, marks, and the content you give us. You license that material to CiteLocal so we can perform the work. CiteLocal keeps its templates, processes, report formats, and tools. Shop mini-pages hosted on citelocal.app domains are part of the service; we may take them down when the retainer ends.
No ranking or lead promise
We do not guarantee search rankings, ChatGPT or other AI mentions, or a volume of leads or revenue. Those outcomes depend on your market, reviews, competitors, and platforms we do not control.
Disclaimer and liability
The site and services are provided as-is. To the fullest extent Utah law allows, CiteLocal is not liable for lost profits, lost leads, ranking or mention changes, or other indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability the law does not let us limit.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site or our work for anything illegal, to submit false listing facts, to interfere with the site, or to impersonate another business. We may refuse or stop work if you do.
Who may request a shop page
We only build a shop page for someone who can bind that business. We check that by sending a verification link to an email at the shop, or by other proof we ask for. Draft pages are shown only to the requester until Base is sold. We publish from public facts you confirm. If we learn the requester does not run the shop, we refuse the work or take the page down.
Marketing email
If you opt in to the CiteLocal newsletter (including the optional checkbox on the quote form), we may send occasional updates. Those messages include a signed unsubscribe link. Cold outreach we send also includes a signed opt-out link. There is no public form to unsubscribe someone else’s address. Transactional mail — quote replies, invoices, and service notices — is not marketing and may still be sent when needed to do the work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in courts located in Utah, unless the law requires otherwise.
