What we collect on citelocal.app and how we use it. Effective September 5, 2026. Questions: jacob@citelocal.app.

This is a business draft posted for transparency. It is not a substitute for a lawyer’s review.

What we collect

If you email us or use a form, we keep what you send: shop name, your name, email, phone, notes, and whether you asked for the newsletter. Hosting also logs technical data such as IP address and browser type. Stripe processes payments. We do not store your full card number.

How we use it

We use it to reply, do the work, bill you, and meet legal or accounting duties. Newsletter mail goes only to people who opted in. Quote replies are not marketing. We do not sell your information.

Who else sees it

Other companies run pieces of the service for us: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and private file storage), Resend (email and opt-in / opt-out lists), Google Workspace (jacob@, quotes@, and hello@), and, when enabled, Vercel Analytics and the Whop Ads pixel. They use the data only to provide that work to us.

Cookies

The site may set cookies needed to run pages and, when enabled, to measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry, customer, and billing records as long as we need them to do the work and meet legal or accounting duties. No method of storage is completely secure.

Newsletter and opt-out

Newsletter signup and the quote-form checkbox are opt-in. Unsubscribe is the signed link in a CiteLocal email. There is no public form to enter someone else’s address. Help: hello@citelocal.app.

Your rights

Email jacob@citelocal.app to ask what we have, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep. We will respond to a reasonable request.

Children

This site is for businesses, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
